Skyward will open at 5PM today for returning student updates, teachers, and schedules!

Skyward will open at 5PM today for our annual student information update.

This update allows parents to check and confirm their contact information, their student's health history and more. Once complete, parents and students will be able to access their child's teachers, schedule and bus information for the upcoming school year.

Although the returning student update may be tedious, it is important that one parent per family completes this necessary update for the school year.

To begin, once you have logged into Skyward, please click "RETURNING STUDENT UPDATE." Please work carefully through the form to ensure that all information is correct and make any necessary changes so that we can get in touch with you or someone else in case of an emergency. Please sign off on all of the forms and enter your initials to indicate you've read all of the forms. If you do not see a COMPLETE STEP button at the bottom of the screen, you may need to maximize your screen to move onto the next section.

Please make a note:

  • Transportation schedules may not be finalized and are subject to change before school starts. Please check your child's schedule closer to the start of school in case there have been updates. 
  • Our website directories are not fully finalized as new personnel are still being processed in our systems that integrate with our website. Therefore, if you do not see your child's teacher listed in the directory, please be patient and check back soon--most of these updates will be completed shortly.
  • If you do not see the returning student update, you may not be the "lead" parent on the Skyward account. Either call your child's school to ask them to switch your access, or have the other parent log into his/her account to complete the updates.
  • If you just registered your child for kindergarten or as a new student, you will still want to complete the "returning" student update. 
  • If you need to change your address, your child's name or birthdate, those changes must be requested through your child's school. 
  • To find your child's teacher(s) and/or schedule, please click on the "Schedule" tab.
  • To find your child's bus number, stop and time of drop off and pick up, please click bus the "Busing" tab. 
  • If your child has a locker (grades 7-12), please click on the "Student Info" tab to find his/her locker and combination.
  • To find your child's log in and password for his/her Exeter Google and Schoology parent access code, please click on the "Portfolio" tab and then click on "Student Password Report." If you want to add a child to an existing account, log in and click on your name in the top right corner of Schoology. There you will see "+ Add Child." Click on this option and enter in the code for your child.
 

Skyward FAQs

WHAT'S MY USER NAME FOR SKYWARD?
Your user name for Skyward is the first five letters of your last name and the first three letters of your first name followed by 000 (or 001 for the second person with that name). For example, John Smith would be "smithjoh000." If a second John Smith were to join the district, his user name would be "smithjoh001."

WHAT'S MY PASSWORD TO SKYWARD?
Your password to Skyward is initially randomly generated. It contains two capitalized words, a symbol and a number.

If you forget your password, please click on the "Forgot your Login/Password" link to have it emailed to you. If it does not appear in your inbox or junk folder within an hour, please contact your building's secretary to have it resent to you, or email registrar@exetersd.org for assistance.

DO I NEED MULTIPLE SKYWARD ACCOUNTS FOR ALL OF MY CHILDREN?
No. All of your children and their information will appear with Skyward when you log in under your account.
